Studio Diary #9: ALBUM TITLE AND FIRST SINGLE ANNOUNCED!!!!!

Still up to my face in demos but the record IS coming.   Been dreaming, sleeping, and living these songs!   There's still so much left to do but i'm having fun with it and excited to release it!

Ok ok ok...   here goes...

The song, "Closer" will be released on July 3 and it will be the first single from the record which will drop later in the month called.......... ELECTRICALIFORNIA.    An homage to the energy i feel all over my adopted home!    

It's soooo almost time to dance!

Studio Diary #8: NEON SESSIONS

today i wrote and recorded the last track for the demo recordings.    I have 13 new tracks all together.   only 10 will make the final cut.   Next step is going into the studio and recording the record!!!    super excited about these songs and excited to find out what they will turn into during the studio sessions.

Studio Diary #7: Neon Sessions

collaborating again with allison grey on a few of the songs for this record.   she's being a very brave soul and giving up her folky sensibilities to go a little crazy with me on this one.   it really is going to be a good time.    we're off to Berkeley for the day for a writing trip to complete what i believe is going to be the first single.   released maybe later this month???

Demos almost complete.   Honestly cannot wait to take this record into the studio.   Gonna be a ton of fun!   I hope the first single can drop by the end of this month but no promises.   For now there are a few incomplete demos and i need to finish that....

late night - hottest day of the year so far... porchlight studios is lit up and a full demo of a new song has been recorded over drinks.   becoming very excited to take these songs into the studio...  i'm ready for this record.

already have more demos then i need for this record.   it's time to complete the one's i have and see where we are at.   could this record be done by the end of the month???
