PEN/PAPER SESSIONS STUDIO DIARY #1

have started writing again, and recording.   going for something like a rock/folk vibe i think?   songs that i write by candle light and incense burning at night in my bedroom... just me and my dog.    the songs are coming easily and i don't really want to spend an amazing amount of time on the production as i did on the last record.   perhaps just let the music/lyrics talk.   this is all far more about the lyrics for me..     i have 6 songs recorded so far... demos (i think?)    perhaps a late october/november release?     oh, and i need to put out one more song from the 'electricalifornia' record next week but i've no idea what......   haha

One of the very first ideas i had for the "electricalifornia" record, this song is a dance/ballad about loving yourself and celebrating your life instead of knowing your differences and hardships and hiding.   The power and safety and freedom that is found on the dance floor.    Enjoy!
